Australian slots provider Lightning Box has introduced its slot releases via its distribution partner SG Digital to the state of Michigan.

Lighting Box’s entry into Michigan’s newly regulated gambling market follows the firm’s launch in Pennsylvania in November 2020, as well as the expansion of its online casino operations in New Jersey via Amaya since 2014.

Prior to this, the supplier had built a well-earned reputation for content development in the US land-based casino industry.

CEO and co-founder of Lightning Box, Peter Causley, was pleased to have met the requirements of Michigan’s gambling authorities, as other states across the country look to liberalise their own regulations.

“Michigan is a significant state, not only due to the size of its potential audience but because of the importance of its tribal gaming community,” he remarked.

“It may well prove to be something of a case study across the rest of the country as a result.

“We have earned our spurs across social, land-based and online casinos in the US now, as well as across the border in Canada, and we’re excited about the other opportunities opening up.”

Three of Lightning Box’s signature slot releases have been launched in the Great Lakes State – Chicken Fox, Lightning Horseman and Lightning Leopard – alongside operators BetMGM, Golden Nugget and Rush St.
