THE DETAILS
In order to activate the free spins bonus, players must land three free spins symbols on reels one, three and five.
There are four types of free spins, only one of which can be triggered at a time. Each type awards a different number of special expanding symbols: one for mixed, two for bronze, three for silver and four for gold.
Landing three gold, silver, bronze or mixed book symbols will trigger 10 spins each. If the book symbols form part of a winning combination, it will payout first and then trigger the feature.
Moreover, during the feature, if a special expanding symbol lands on enough reels to count as a win (regardless of position), all instances of that symbol will expand to fill the reels.
The player is awarded for 10 lines of the expanded symbol. If more than one special expanding symbol is available they will all be awarded.
Finally, landing two or three additional free spins symbols awards five more free spins, while landing three books will award an additional special expanding symbol.
