The low value symbols within the game include the traditional A-10 royal symbols. These offer the player between x0.40 to x20 the original bet, depending on the numbers that land in a single spin.
The next jump in values comes from the shoal of fish symbol, providing between x2 for a winning combination of three and x40 for a five-of-a-kind combination. This symbol is also the money symbol, which can take a random money value which can be won in the free spins mode.
Higher in value is the tackle box and dragonfly. These two symbols both award between x4 to x100 the player’s bet. Moreover, the fishing rod offers x6 for a three-of-a-kind win and x200 for five.
The highest value symbol is the monster truck which provides the player with x400 for a winning combination of five.
The wild symbol is a fisherman holding his captured bass. This appears on all reels in the free spins round and substitutes for all symbols except the scatter.

During the base game, if the player lands three or more scatter symbols in a single spin, it activates the free spins mode. Moreover, if only two land without a third, there is a chance for another to be brought into play by the nudge feature.
Before Big Bass Splash’s free spins round begins, up to five game modifiers can be applied to the bonus round by catching fish. These can award additional fisherman, fish, dynamite, hooks and bazookas, a quick promotion to level two, or two extra free spins at the start and for every additional retrigger thereafter.
Once the free spins round begins, a wild fisherman symbol is added to the reels and collects all instant cash awarding fish. If four fishermen land in this round, it will retrigger, awarding 10-spins and witness the multiplier increase.
