Take on dragons and fight for the throne in upcoming IP-led slot titles from Blueprint Gaming as part of a licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences (WBDGE) for the Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon franchises.

The UK-based game studio, part of Germany’s Merkur Group, will develop online slot titles based on iconic entertainment IPs, starting with a Game of Thrones game set for release in March, with additional titles to follow.

Blueprint Gaming’s roadmap of WBDGE titles will utilise iconic characters, moments, themes and the soundtrack from both Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon TV shows.

“Game of Thrones is one of the most significant entertainment brands in the world, and working with an IP of this scale carries a clear responsibility,” commented Charlie Jacka, Head of Product at Blueprint Gaming.

“Our focus has been on creating a game that stays true to the depth and identity of the series, while delivering the engaging gameplay and mechanics operators expect from Blueprint.”

Blueprint Gaming’s first Game of Thrones title will use the money-collecting mechanic with base-game modifiers, while the free spins round will see players journey through Westeros in search of big wins.

The supplier has a solid track record of developing titles with strong IPs, including most recently with the iconic The Goonies and Yogi Bear franchises.

These IPs are part of a Blueprint Gaming portfolio of over 500 games, available in the regulated markets of the UK, Alderney, Malta, Gibraltar, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Spain, Romania and Canada.
