THE SYMBOLS
Low value symbols come in the form of the high end of a deck of cards, from nine through to Ace. If the right number of winning combinations land on a single spin, these symbols can offer between x0.4 and x1.5 the player’s bet.
Meanwhile, disco-themed animals depict the high value symbols, with crocodiles, parrots, tigers, rhinos and golden monkeys offering between x0.2 and x5 the player’s preferred wager.
Bonus text scatter symbols can also drop into play, triggering access to one of two bonus features when three or more appear on the same spin.
Banana symbols are also available on all reels, displaying cash prizes that can be collected by special monkey collect symbols that can only drop in on reels one and six.
Monkey collect symbols can appear in three forms, with the ‘hit the decks’ monkey collecting all prize values, ‘remix’ monkeys cause all prize symbols to stay sticky on the reels while the rest of the reels respin and ‘up the bass’ monkeys boost all cash prizes by up to x5 before collecting them.
Finally, wild disco balls can appear on reels two through six, substituting for all symbols other than banana prizes and cash collect monkeys.
THE DETAILS
After three scatters drop into play, players will have the choice of two game modes to activate with ‘pump it up’ free spins and ‘mixmaster’ free spins features available.
In the pump it up spins, every hit the decks, remix, or up the bass collect monkey symbol that drops into play will be added to a tally that sits above the reels.
When three monkeys are collected, players are awarded five extra spins while all apple collect wins will be multiplied by two.
If a further three monkeys are collected, five more spins will be awarded and the monkeys collect wins will be multiplied by three, and another three after that also awards five additional spins but the multiplier increases to x5.
For the feature’s final upgrade, when another three monkeys collects have appeared, players will gain a final five extra spins while the monkeys collect multiplier increases to x10.
The mixmaster free spins game mode sees all cash bananas removed from play, as well as monkey collect symbols. Players are given eight spins while special versions of the high value golden monkey can drop into play, holding medallions.
Every medallion-wielding monkey that appears will be added to a tally above the reel set. Once 10 have been collected, the lowest-value high value symbol will be upgraded to the golden monkey symbol.
This starts with the crocodile symbol, but then impacts the parrot, tiger and rhino symbols after 20, 30 and 40 medallion monkeys have been collected, respectively.
Additionally, in the base game, any golden monkey symbols that appear on the same spin as a monkey collect symbol will gather all prize values that are displayed on the reels and add them to its own value, increasing the win potential before being collected by the monkey collect symbol.
Blueprint Gaming has introduced its new Rapid Fire Jackpots feature in this title. Landing five Rapid Fire symbols anywhere on the reels triggers the Rapid Fire Wheel, offering stake multiplier wins ranging from x5 to x1,000 or one of five progressive pots from mini to mega king.
