Harlequin wins only has three paying symbols in the base game, represented by Harlequins with different coloured hair. One is pink haired, another is ginger and the other is blonde.
These symbols can appear on the reels with a cash value between x0.2 and x200 the player’s bet. Every time a Harlequin lands on the reels, it will award its cash value to the payout no matter where it lands or how many land with it.
A ruby acts as a blocker symbol that makes up the majority of symbols that will land in the game. When the reels only contain rubies, no payout will be awarded to the player.
When three or more harlequins drop into play, the racking up riches feature will be activated. This feature eliminates all rubies on the board to make way for new symbols while the winning harlequins will drop to the bottom row. As additional symbols are dropping in, the board increases in size to allow up to eight symbols to land in the reels.
During this feature, not only can extra harlequins drop in but jester hat multipliers can also apply a multiplier ranging from x2 to x10 the payout of the free spins win.
If an additional Harlequin drops into play, the racking up riches feature will repeat itself. If no further harlequins or multipliers drop in, then two rubies that landed as a result of the tumble feature will be eliminated to give an extra chance for additional symbols.
