THE SYMBOLS
Low value symbols in Big Bass Amazon Xtreme are represented by the high end of a deck of cards, from 10 through to Ace. Landing certain winning combinations can cause these symbols to offer between x0.2 and x10 the player’s wager.
A backpack and a fishing rod are the game’s medium value symbols, offering x2 and x50 the player’s bet if the right combinations land on the reels.
A toucan and a fishing lure represent the high value symbols in the game. If the right combinations appear, these symbols offer x0.5 and x200 the player’s stake.
Big Bass Amazon Xtreme also has a wild symbol in the form of a fisherman which appears on all reels during the free spins round and substitutes for all symbols except for the scatter and money symbol.
The money symbol is represented by a group of fish, while the game also has a scatter symbol in the form of a single fish, which can appear on all the reels.
THE DETAILS
The money symbol takes a random value between x0.2 and x1000 the player’s stake during every spin but can only be won during the free spins mode.
There is also a chance the value of money symbols on the reels can be collected and awarded after a base game spin. If this happens, a random multiplier between x1 and x50 will be applied to the total value of the money symbols present.
For scatters, if three or more scatter symbols land on the reels, the free spins feature activates and 10 free spins are awarded. If four or five scatters land, the subsequent pick bonus will begin with one or two boot items respectively already revealed.
If only two scatter symbols appear in the base game, players have a chance to bring another one onto the reels via two random features.
One feature will see a respin triggered. If a scatter symbol can move down by a position without disappearing off the reels, a respin is triggered where the scatter can move down and on the reels where no scatter is present.
Another feature involves a crocodile, which can appear and change one symbol into a scatter.
Before the free spins round begins, players are asked to pick jars to break which reveal modifiers for the subsequent free spins round.
Modifiers include more free spins between one to three additional spins to a maximum of six, one to three “guaranteed fish” money symbols on the reels on every spin for the whole free spin duration, up to three additional wild symbols to start the round, and removing lowest fish items up to two times for a price of x2 the total bet money symbol value the first time and x5 the value the second time.
During the free spins mode, fisherman wilds will collect the values of money symbols on the reels. Wild symbols are collected during the rounds as well until the end of the round, with every fourth wild retriggering the feature for up to 10 additional free spins being awarded.
The multiplier for the money symbol is also multiplied from x2 for the second level up to x50 for the eighth level, to which point it can’t be retriggered anymore.
Four random events can also occur during the free spin mode depending on the reel situation. If wilds are present with no money symbols, money symbols can appear at the end of a free spin. In the same scenario, a waterfall animation can occur to change all the symbols on the reels to something else except for the wilds.
If money symbols are present but no wilds, a hook will appear at the end of a free spin to pull one reel up to reveal a wild. The hook can also appear at the end of any free spin to pull the reels up to reveal a wild or money symbol.
Free spins can also be bought for x100 the player’s stake. There is also an Ante bet multiplier option. Bet multiplier x10 causes normal play, but bet multiplier x15 sees the chance of a free spins round occurring increase. The ability to buy free spins is disabled during this mode, but more scatter symbols are present on the reels.
