Slots players were destined to go to the Emerald City in June, as Light & Wonder‘s ‘Wizard Of Oz: Follow the Yellow Brick Road’ showed off how powerful brand IP can be by earning the top spot in iGaming Tracker’s top 20 worldwide slot releases chart.

iGaming Tracker uses data from regulated casino sites to produce its proprietary content share score, which aims to replicate online casino market share by tracking casino webpages daily, applying weight based on a game’s webpage position, game tile size, page type, as well as the site and jurisdiction where the webpage is tracked.

Titles are tracked over the first 30 days of their release to analyse and compare the performance of games over a given month.

Topping iGaming Tracker’s charts globally for June was ‘Wizard Of Oz: Follow the Yellow Brick Road’ by Light & Wonder with an 80,391 content share score, even though it was only released on 19 June and present on four sites in four jurisdictions.

It was noted by iGaming Tracker that the title has been “prominently top of the page since its release on BetMGM in all US states and Ontario”.

‘Mummy’s Jewels’ by Pragmatic Play finished in second place, present on 230 sites in 34 jurisdictions with a 49,865 content share score. In third was ‘Le King’ by Hacksaw Games, available on 188 sites in 31 jurisdictions with a 45,998 content share score.

‘Super 7 Winner’ by Blueprint Gaming came in fourth place with a content share score of 34,777 and its title being present on 124 sites in 22 jurisdictions. Concluding the top five was ‘Pirots 4’ by ELK Studios, available on 131 sites in 21 jurisdictions, achieving a 34,762 content share score.
