THE SYMBOLS

Low value symbols are represented by the high end of a deck of cards, from 10 through to Ace. If the right number of matching combinations land on a single spin, these symbols can offer between x0.1 and x0.5 the player’s bet.

Meanwhile, scarab beetles, cats, pharaohs and John Hunter himself depict the high value symbols, offering between x0.25 and x2 the player’s preferred wager.

Book scatters are also available, triggering 10 free spins if three or more land on the same spin. Additionally, landing three, four, five or six scatters on the same spin will award instant payouts of x3, x15, 100 or x500 the player’s bet respectively.

Finally, wild pyramids can appear, substituting for all symbols other than the book scatters.

THE DETAILS

Throughout the game, a randomly triggered expanding symbols feature can occur. This causes one low or high value symbols to be chosen at random to be enhanced for one spin only.

On this enhanced spin, the grid will payout all initial wins when the standard symbols drop into play. After those wins have been paid, the chosen symbol will expand across each reel it has dropped into, massively increasing the win potential for that spin.

As the free spins begin, one symbol is chosen to have this expanding feature for the entirety of the bonus game mode.

Furthermore, players can buy access to the free spins feature for the price of x100 their stake. An ante bet option is also available, allowing players to increase their stake by 25 per cent – without affecting paytable prizes – to gain a higher chance of landing bonus symbols.
