Travel down the rabbit hole for a mad hatter’s tea party in Pragmatic Play’s latest wonderland-inspired slot release, The Red Queen.
Alice in Wonderland
The Red Queen is a 5×3 reel slot with 20-paylines and a maximum win of up to x5,000 the player’s bet.

Low value symbols are represented by the high end of a deck of cards, from 10 through to Ace. These symbols can offer between x0.1 and x1.25 the player’s stake, depending on the number of winning combinations that appear on a single spin.
Tea-drinking rabbits, mad hatters, cheshire cats, white rabbits and the red queen depict the high value symbols, offering between x0.25 and x5 the player’s preferred bet.
Wild hearts can drop into play on reels two, three and four, substituting for all symbols other than the bonus scatter. These wilds can randomly appear with multipliers of x2 or x4, which will be applied to any win that they contribute to.
Question mark mystery symbols are also available, revealing identical paytable symbols across the board at the end of each spin they appear on.
Finally, throne scatters are included, triggering the free spins feature if three or more appear on the same spin.
The number of pay-ways can be increased in the base game as symbols can appear split into two or four symbol combinations.
Additionally, throughout the base game, a sixth reel remains locked on the right side of the board. When two or three throne scatters appear on a spin, this sixth reel will become unlocked revealing three new symbols to be dropped into play.
If a throne scatter is revealed on this sixth reel then players are taken to the free spins feature, whereas a queen symbol will trigger a special respin feature.
In this respin, the triggering throne scatters will turn into wild symbols with multipliers of x2, x3 or x5, becoming sticky on the reels for a subsequent respin.
Furthermore, when the free spins game mode begins, players are presented with a clock. The arms of the clock will then turn to reveal how many spins are to be awarded in the feature.
If three scatters landed to trigger the game mode, a green zone will appear from hours one to four, while four scatters will have a bigger green zone of one to six. If the clock hands land on an hour in this green zone, that hour’s number will be added to the maximum number of 12, resulting in a maximum amount of 18 spins.
During the free spins, an extra horizontal reel is added above reels two, three, four and five, in which playing card knights award either split symbols or guaranteed wilds to their respective reels. These knights can also award extra free spins.
