A mighty cockerel rules the roost as Play’n GO ventures to a small Italian village via its latest slot, Rocco Gallo.
Rocco Gallo is a 5×3, 20-payline slot that sees the heroic cockerel attempt to keep the villainous fox Vinnie Volpe, who lurks in the shadows, away from the chicks.
A range of vegetables – mushroom, onion, broccoli, red pepper and tomato – are the title’s low value symbols, offering players between x0.75 to x5.25 the original bet, depending on the numbers that land in a single spin.
The medium value symbols come in the form of four different hens, offering x3 to x37.50 the player’s bet.
Finally, the highest symbol is Rocco himself, who continues to flex his cockerel biceps in the frame, and awards players between x15 to x75 the bet.
The title also includes a golden egg scatter symbol, which is used to trigger the free spins mode.
Rocco Gallo includes a free spins mode that integrates a battle sequence between Rocco and Vinnie.
During the free spins, golden eggs will reveal either an instant prize – which is added to the Cash Pot immediately – or a multiplier. Two frames are highlighted on the reels, if Rocco appears the Cash Pot prize is awarded, but if Vinnie Volpe appears the Cash Pot prize is removed.
If both characters appear, a battle takes place on the reels, with the Cash Pot prize being awarded and the free spins resetting back to three.
WHAT THEY SAY
Head of Games at Play’n GO, Charlotte Miliziano, commented: “Rocco Gallo is a really fun game and the animal theme is always popular as it allows our designers to play with personalities and create a really humorous dynamic on the reels and this then reflects what players experience as they play.”
