The CasinoBeats Summit conference and exhibition is set to feature an agenda that tackles the big issues in igaming development, innovation and strategy when it returns to the InterContinental in St Julian’s, Malta on May 24 – 26, 2022.
Event organiser SBC is renowned throughout the international igaming industry for the quality of its conference agendas and speaker line-ups, and the latest edition of CasinoBeats Summit will bolster that reputation.
The high-level speakers participating in the event include Alexander Martin (CEO, SKS365), Américo Loureiro (director, Solverde), Ariel Reem (CEO, Genesis Global), Allan Auning-Hansen (CEO, Spilnu.dk), Melanie Hainzer (CMO, Wildz Casino), Cristiano Blanco (CPO, ComeOn Group), and Erica Spiteri (CPO, Acroud). The full list of 160 senior executives and specialists will be announced soon.
The first full day of the conference, May 25, features a track dedicated to the future of slots. It includes panels examining the lessons igaming can learn from video gaming, the latest developments in game mechanics, how to make new games stand out from the crowd, and whether the trend for high-volatility slots risks alienating casual players.
On stage two, the focus will be on industry leadership. The track will see some of the highest-profile executives in igaming sharing insights and ideas on topics such as how to solve the industry’s skills shortage, what the latest M&A activity means for the sector, the most effective use of personalisation technology, CSR, and the responsible approach to attracting the next generation of players.
Stage three will host the Global Casino track, which runs over both days of the conference. Local market experts will provide in-depth updates on the latest regulatory developments and emerging opportunities in territories including Malta, the UK, the US, Ontario, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden and Romania.
The agenda for 26 May sees stage one devoted to the latest products, with sessions including detailed explorations of the changing face of live casino, the future of crypto casinos, and how metaverse technology will influence the industry. The day will finish with a series of presentations from the studios nominated for the Game Developer Awards, detailing their latest innovations.
Stage two will feature a day-long track focused on marketing and affiliates. It is set to tackle the central issue of responsible messaging, as well examining the likely impact of the latest Google algorithm update, and sharing strategies for the most effective use of social media, streaming, television, and print channels.
Rasmus Sojmark, founder and CEO of SBC, said: “We’re excited to be returning to Malta, which remains the key centre for the global online casino industry, with such a strong event.
“The conference promises to be a particular highlight, with the industry’s most influential leaders providing in-depth insights, analysis and ideas for collaborations of the sort that are almost impossible to access anywhere else.”
In addition to the conference, CasinoBeats Summit delegates will have access to an exhibition that will give them a first chance to see the latest products and games from leading igaming suppliers, as well as a programme of exclusive evening networking parties in stylish Malta venues.
The event is the central part of Malta’s Spring iGaming Week, which also features the KPMG Gaming eSummit on 24 May and the second edition of the Game Developer Awards on May 26.
