SlotBeats: Could you begin by talking us through the basic premise of DailySpin and what you hope to achieve? 

Eric Stööp: Dailyspin was launched in August 2024, and we aim to be the one stop shop for users that want to try the latest slot machines but also experience the classics in our extensive library.  

Users can also take advantage of new, exclusive and daily temporary offers when we review regulated, safe and the latest online casinos. 

SB: What is the process behind adding new slots to the site? How do you decide what makes it and what doesn’t? 

ES: We believe in regulated diversity. We constantly release and review new slot machines while giving more focus to the ones we believe the users will appreciate more and base the structure of priority on the behaviour we see from users who experience the slot machines. 

This has been a key recipe in previous projects, we can guide new users in the right direction to give them a faster understanding of what kinds of mechanics and themes in the slot machines they prefer and which ones that might not suit their preference.

SB: How do you vet a potential new partner? What do you look for from a prospective new collaboration?

ES: We are totally unbiased in our reviews and to be that we need to experience all the partners we list from a user perspective. We always test the full funnel of our partners as a real user.

ES: Italy is still a very special market when it comes to slot machine themes and mechanics. You have certain slot machines that everyone knows, they have been around physically in brick-and-mortar casinos, bars and restaurants in Italy. To name a few, Book of Ra, Fowl Play Gold, Sphinx Slot etc. 

When we started back in 2010, the online versions of these slot machines were extremely popular. 

During the years there has been a transition online, to the more modern ones like the ‘Megaways’ mechanics, but these classic slot machines still hold a much bigger market share than in other European casino markets.

SB: How do you envisage DailySpin growing as you move forward? Will you look to add new verticals to complement slots?

ES: I don’t see us moving into new verticals, slot machines are a big passion for us, and I rather see us expanding this vertical with new functionality around the free to play part. 

We are also in the process of recording videos of real money play for each of the most popular slot machines, to give a better understanding of the mechanics of the slot machine but also experience the excitement we experience when we play for real money.
