Like many, 3 Oaks Gaming has embraced the launch of Brazil’s regulated market, and so far, according to the company’s CCO, Yurii Muratov, the experience has exceeded their expectations.
Speaking to SlotBeats, Muratov details how 3 Oaks Gaming’s experience in other regulated jurisdictions has allowed them to effectively navigate the early months of the market.
He stated: “ For these months, our games received excellent traction, especially those with vibrant visuals, engaging bonus mechanics, and mobile-first performance. Brazil has exceeded our expectations in terms of player response, speed to market, and partnership opportunities.
“Local flavour matters, whether through themes, music, or features that align with cultural expectations. And we are already incorporating those insights into future game development.”
Brazil is just one piece of the puzzle for 3 Oaks Gaming, however, as the studio has been busy securing certifications in new markets across Europe in locations such as the UK, Italy, Greece and Romania.
This need for expansion, Muratov outlines, is fuelled by the maturation of the markets and the development of clear regulatory frameworks for gaming and content licensing.
“[This] creates a stable and transparent environment for us to operate in,” he explains.
“Entering these jurisdictions now allows us to support our existing partners’ expansion goals while forging new relationships with operators in these regions. Thus, we are entering these new jurisdictions not just to expand, but to lead.”
He also cites the success of games such as 3 Hot Chillies, Sun of Egypt 4 and the ‘Coin Up’ titles, arguing that their success in existing markets “provides a strong foundation to expand into new territories”.
3 Oak Gaming’s desire for expansion appears to mean an almost complete circumnavigation of the global gaming market, as Muratov name-checks locations around the world.
In Europe, the company is progressing towards certifications in several jurisdictions, including the Netherlands and Spain. Meanwhile, early success in Brazil has 3 Oaks Gaming eyeing other LatAm markets such as Colombia and Peru.
Elsewhere, it also has its sights set on the emerging African market. The company already has a presence in South Africa, however, Muratov anticipates 3 Oaks taking a closer look at both Kenya and Nigeria.
He concludes: “Market expansion remains a core pillar of our growth strategy, and the roadmap ahead is both ambitious and exciting. But it’s not just about expansion, it’s also about smart, strategic growth.
“Every new jurisdiction we enter is part of a bigger vision to become a global content powerhouse, delivering top-performing games and long-term value for partners across regulated markets worldwide.”
