Anna Serheieva, Head of Partnerships at OnlyPlay, believes the demands that modern players ask for from iGaming titles can be achieved with tap games.

The success OnlyPlay has achieved in its past five years of operations was highlighted by Serheieva, as well as why its tap titles like ‘Piggy Tap’ and ‘Fortune Chef Panda’ have been a success with players.

Serheieva noted that the company’s desire to be trendsetters has helped them grow, with thousands of operators knowing who they are.

Speaking at this year’s SBC Summit Lisbon, she added that OnlyPlay’s Piggy Tap title success shows there is room and demand from players and operators alike for new mechanics in the industry.

“It also became our great lesson because before Piggy Tap, we launched several innovative products. Everything we missed that time became our strong advantage when we launched Piggy Tap. Nowadays, it continues to be our strong-performing game.”

OnlyPlay believes the tap mechanics of Piggy Tap and its latest title, Fortune Chef Panda, are important for iGaming customer engagement.

Serheieva said: “Players today want to play simple, to play fast, to play dynamic games, to understand the game and how it works. Everything has to be easy and transparent. This is what Fortune Chef Panda is itself and tap games are.”

With this ease of play, ensuring player protection with tap titles must be paramount.

Serheieva stated that responsible gaming is considered in the early stages of any game development, so that they can meet the regulations and go live in markets across the world.

“We understand that if we want new games, our tap games, to be present in all the markets, to be played worldwide, we have to follow strict rules and regulations and to correspond, so the level of responsibility in this case is quite high and we try to think of that a lot in advance, long before we go to regulation and certification.

“Moreover, we try to make the game simple and transparent, so the player really understands what is going on within the game. The player can also see what actually happened in each round. This is how we keep it responsible and just easy for the players so they feel safe.”
