ThrillTech secures LOTBA license in Argentina

ThrillTech has gained a license as an online gaming technology provider from the Buenos Aires City Lottery ( LOTBA ), which will allow it to offer its solutions to authorised operators in the jurisdiction.

With this approval, the company adds Buenos Aires to its list of regulated markets and enables the integration of its ThrillPots product, a jackpot tool funded through voluntary contributions from the players themselves.

Thus, the license recognises ThrillTech as an authorized provider of online gaming technology under the regulatory framework of LOTBA. As the company reported on November 5, this addition is part of its expansion strategy in Latin America, where it identifies “a growing demand for user-funded participation solutions.”

With this authorization, licensed operators in the City of Buenos Aires will be able to integrate ThrillPots, a jackpot system that works with existing casino and sports betting products. The tool allows for the addition of voluntary, independent bets, separate from the mechanics of the original games and their certified return to player (RTP) percentages.

The platform operates entirely on contributions from participating users. These funds form progressive prizes that can grow as new contributions are made. According to ThrillTech, this model allows operators to offer additional incentives to their customers and generate supplemental revenue without using their promotional marketing budgets or transferring liquidity to shared jackpot funds outside their own ecosystems.

With the addition of Buenos Aires, the company expands its presence in jurisdictions with specific regulatory frameworks. ThrillTech holds B2B licenses, certifications, and registrations in the United Kingdom, Sweden, Romania, Greece, Malta, Gibraltar, Ontario, and Peru. It also holds ISO 27001 certification.

Amy Santos , Chief Operating Officer of ThrillTech, referred to the authorization and highlighted its importance for the company’s regional growth plans.

“Obtaining LOTBA supplier registration marks a milestone for ThrillTech and represents another important step in our expansion in Latin America. We are pleased to bring ThrillPots to operators in Argentina, with a player-funded bonus betting jackpot solution that enhances engagement and generates new revenue opportunities for businesses,” he explained.

The executive added: “This achievement reaffirms our commitment to offering innovative and compliant solutions that deliver real value to both operators and their players.”
