With flights scheduled and bags packed, the industry has entered a phase of final preparations for a week of product presentations and networking at ICE in The Big Smoke.

Having only launched in May 2022, Games Global is set to make its maiden voyage to the exhibition, quite literally as its plans to take over the Sunborn Yacht just outside of the ExCel centre.

In a pre-ICE interview, Walter Bugno, Games Global CEO, highlighted the importance of ‘making an entrance with a splash’ at the firm’s first appearance, while discussing what his company has in store for delegates and shipmates.

With the event returning to its full size and February slot following last year’s slightly muted April affair, what are you looking forward to most at this year’s ICE?

It’s fantastic that ICE is back to normal as this year will be Games Global’s first outing at the event. We’re thrilled to be exhibiting and have the opportunity to showcase the Games Global 2023 roadmap.

We have an action-packed agenda planned throughout with live in-person demos at stand N5-120, and we’re especially looking forward to making an entrance with a splash with our exclusive takeover of the Sunborn Yacht – setting up our very own studio boulevard for customers to immerse themselves in the creativity of the Games Global studios.

Do you think the industry is in better shape now because of the challenges previously faced?

Absolutely! Whenever there are periods of upset or challenges to overcome, it forces businesses to adapt and rethink strategies, so generally speaking, challenges tend to create positive and imaginative outcomes in the long term. Igaming as an industry has technology on its side, and the tech space is constantly experimenting, trialling new ideas and pushing boundaries.

We’re seeing rapid growth in the technology sector – there are some remarkable things happening in AI, for example – and this is reflected in igaming. It is because of this Games Global invests so much into research and development. We know that the answers to tomorrow’s unprecedented challenges are in today’s innovation!

What do you intend to showcase at ICE London 2023?

As it’s our first appearance at ICE, our focus is showcasing Games Global, our individual studios and our 2023 games roadmap. To demonstrate why we strive to be the one; the one customers turn to, employees are proud to be a part of, and the one reference point for the industry at large.

We have strong values, make bold decisions, and together will show customers – and players – the level of quality and craftsmanship they can expect to see from Games Global in 2023 and beyond.

We have some of the industry’s finest studios creating innovative and engaging new content, redefining the future of igaming, and we can’t wait to show the world what we can achieve. That’s why the Sunborn Yacht should be such a draw – because it’s an opportunity to get up close and personal with the brilliant minds behind the most legendary content on the market.
