Low value symbols in the game come in the form of the high end of a deck of cards, with 10 through to Ace. These symbols can offer between x0.2 and x2.5 the player’s stake, depending on the amount of matching combinations that land on a single spin.
Medium value symbols are represented by dice, cherries and heart-shaped rings. If the right amount of winning combinations land at once then these symbols can offer between x0.5 and x4 the player’s bet.
Black cats, gargoyles and lucky sevens depict the highest-paying symbols in this title, offering between x0.4 and x7.
Book scatter symbols can also drop into play, triggering free spins on the player’s chosen bonus level when the required amount lands on the reels at once.
Finally, a female sporting devil-horns is used for the wild symbol. These wilds will substitute for all symbols other than the free spins books.
THE DETAILS
At the very start of the game, players are tasked with selecting one of four free spins modes to be active when the free spins bonus is triggered.
Cool, medium, hot and xtra hot choices are available, with the amount of free spins and bonuses increasing with each level while the likelihood of landing the free spins bonus decreases.
In some of these games, the wild character can expand to fill entire columns, whereas in the hotter levels these wilds can jump to other areas on the board.
With the cool feature, nine free spins are awarded with one expanding wild. When selected, this level will only require four scatters to be activated.
The medium level requires eight scatters to be triggered as it offers 12 free spins with two expanding wilds.
Next up, the hot option awards players with 15 free spins while providing three expanding or jumping wilds, however 12 scatters are needed to trigger this feature.
As the hardest level to activate, the xtra hot level requires 16 scatters. Once triggered, this game awards the player with 20 free spins and four expanding or jumping wilds.
Landing an additional four scatters in any of these game modes will award an extra four free spins.
