Betsoft has pushed out a fishing boat and cast a line in its latest angling slot release that introduces the studio’s new reset feature, A Big Catch – Hold & Win.

THE SYMBOLS
Low value symbols are represented by the high end of a deck of cards, from 10 through to Ace. If the right number of matching combinations land on a single spin, these symbols can offer between x0.08 and x1.6 the player’s bet.
Next up, blue, orange, green and red fish depict the medium value symbols, providing wins between x0.4 and x6 the player’s preferred stake.
High value symbols come in the form of golden fish trophies, sharks and fishermen. These symbols can offer between x2 and x40 the player’s bet, depending on the number of paying combinations that fall on one turn.
Bonus spheres can also drop into play, displaying either monetary values from x0.6 to x12 the player’s stake or jackpot prizes of mini (x15), minor (x30) and major (x200). Landing six or more spheres on the same spin will activate the Hold & Win game mode.
Additionally, gold sharks can land on the reels. These special sharks can only impact the Hold & Win game mode, but do contribute to the six or more symbols needed to trigger the feature when appearing in the base game.
Finally, tool box wilds can appear on reels two, three and four, substituting for all symbols other than the bonus spheres and gold sharks.
THE DETAILS
In the Hold & Win game mode, players are given three spins to land as many bonus spheres on an empty reel set as possible. Each symbol that appears in the game mode will reset the number of spins to three.
Every gold shark that appears in the game mode will perform a reset feature, collecting all values from other spheres – including jackpots – and adding them to its own value. The collected spheres will then disappear, creating more potential for further spheres to land in play.
Once all three spins have been completed, players will receive the sum of all spheres and gold sharks that are present on the grid. If the grid becomes filled with 15 spheres or sharks, the grand jackpot prize of x2,000 will be won.
