April Fury and the Chamber of Scarabs’ low value symbols come in the form of playing cards from 10 through to Ace. Depending on the combinations that land on the reels, these symbols can pay out x0.5 to x7.5 the player’s wager.
High value symbols are represented by a chalice, a map, a pair of binoculars, a magnifying glass and a torch, which can pay out x1 to x200 the player’s bet depending on what combinations land on the reels.
The game also has wild, free spins and bonus symbols, which come in the form of a golden lion head, a golden key and a golden scarab respectively. The bonus symbol does not pay during the base game.
DETAILS
When six or more golden scarab bonus symbols appear on the reels, the game’s Hold & Win bonus feature is triggered.
Any bonus symbols that trigger the feature are locked into place and three respins are awarded to the player. The mode can be triggered during the base game and in free spins mode.
During Hold & Win, each golden scarab has a bet multiplier between the range of one to 500. Every new bonus symbol that appears on the reels is locked into place and the respins amount is reset to three.
The Hold & Win bonus feature ends under two different conditions – when no more respins remain or when all positions on the reels are filled with bonus symbols.
When the Hold & Win bonus feature has concluded, multipliers on the reels are added together and multiplied by the player’s stake before being paid out. Free spins mode can’t be triggered during the Hold & Win bonus feature.
Appearing on all reels, the golden lion head wilds substitute for all symbols except for the free spins and bonus symbols. This symbol can pay x1 to x200 the player’s stake depending on the combinations that land on the reels.
The golden key free spins symbol can appear on all reels with three or more of these symbols triggering the game’s free spins mode. Three, four or five scatters award five, seven or nine free spins respectively.
The Hold & Win bonus feature can be triggered during free spins mode and free spins can be retriggered during free spins mode.
The game also has a buy feature to purchase five, seven or nine free spins for x90, x126 or x160 the player’s stake respectively.
