Low value symbols are represented by playing card royals, from Jack through to Ace. Landing a certain number of identical symbols in a winning combination will award respective payouts depending on the symbols position in the paytable.
Meanwhile, high value symbols are represented by octopuses, anchors, steering wheels, as well as skull and cross bone emblems. If the right number of identical symbols fall on the same spin, these symbols will provide respective payouts.
Blue Beard wild symbols are also available, substituting for all symbols other than the free spins scatters and bonus gold coins.
Gold coins can also appear, displaying multiplied bet amount values. Landing six or more gold coins on the same spin will activate the game’s hold and win bonus game mode.
Finally, free spins scatters are represented by pirate ship sails, triggering eight free spins if three land on the same spin.
THE DETAILS
In the hold and win game mode, players are taken to an empty reel set where only gold coins or special treasure chests can land on the reels. The triggering bonus coin symbols will remain in their place on the board for the feature.
Players are awarded three spins to land as many symbols on the reels as possible, with each symbol that drops in resetting the number of spins to three. At the end of the game mode, the player will receive the sum of all values available across the board.
When treasure chests drop into play, they collect all gold coin values on the reel set and add them to its own, making the gold coins disappear to make more space for further symbols to drop in.
During the free spins, a random number of reels will be enhanced on each spin, revealing identical symbols to the other enhanced reels.
