Low value symbols are represented by the high end of a deck of cards, from nine through to Ace. These symbols can offer between x0.4 and x2.5 the player’s bet, depending on the number of paying combinations that fall on one spin.
Golden Ankh staffs, birds, cats and scarab beetles depict the high value symbols, offering between x1 and x15 the player’s preferred stake.
Wild pharaohs can also drop into play, substituting for all symbols, other than the book scatters. Landing three, four or five wilds on a winning payline can offer x5, x15 and x25 respectively.
Lastly, book scatters can bring a number of features when they land on reels two, three or four, including mystery symbols, expanding wilds and multipliers. Landing three books on the same spin will also trigger eight free spins.
THE DETAILS
When one book symbol lands in the base game, it will reveal a random paytable symbol from the low and high value variants. After selecting the symbol, all other versions of that symbol that are president on the reels will turn into wilds.
If two books drop into play, they will both reveal a paytable symbol. If they reveal identical symbols, then all versions of this symbol that are present on the board will turn into expanded wilds, covering their entire reels.
Landing three books on the same spin will not only trigger the free spins mode, but will also reveal one paytable symbol each. If all three of these symbols are identical, the same symbols across the reels will turn into expanded wilds that will have random multipliers of either x2, x3 or x5.
During the free spins game mode, these book enhancements will be upgraded, as one book symbol dropping into play reveals one paytable symbol and all versions of that symbol present on the reels will turn into expanded wilds.
Additionally, if two books drop into play, they will both reveal a paytable symbol. If both of these symbols are identical, the same symbols across the reels will turn into expanded wilds that will have multipliers of either x2, x3 or x5.
Landing three books on the same spin will re-trigger the free spins mode with eight extra spins, while also revealing one paytable symbol each. If all three of these symbols are identical, the same symbols across the reels will turn into expanded wilds that will have two multipliers added to them.
Throughout the base and bonus game modes, wild multipliers contributing to the same win will multiply their values together to further increase the game’s win potential.
