Betsoft has introduced scatter-pays to its flagship Hold & Win series by taking players on a trip to Latin America in its latest slot, ChilliPop: Get em All – Hold & Win.

All standard symbols in the game are represented by vegetable characters, with low value symbols coming in the form of white onions, tomatoes, green, red and orange bell peppers. These symbols can provide wins between x0.1 and x10 the player’s stake, depending on the number of matching combinations that land on one spin.
Topping the paytable are red onions alongside yellow and orange chillies, offering between x0.3 and x100 the player’s preferred bet.
Bonus coins can appear on the reels, displaying monetary values between x1 and x15 the player’s bet, or jackpot values of mini (x10), minor (x80) or major (x600). Landing four or more coins on the same spin will activate the Hold & Win game mode.
Finally, wild stars can land on the reels, substituting for all symbols other than coins. Each wild symbol that appears on the reels will gain a multiplier equal to the number of wilds that have appeared on the same spin. For example, three wilds dropping into play will enhance all wins they contribute to by x3.
THE DETAILS
In the hold-and-win game mode, players are given three spins on an empty 7×4 reel set where only the triggering coin symbols begin on the board.
During the three spins, additional coins can land on the reels and each symbol that does drop into play will reset the number of spins to three.
Furthermore, special mule symbols can appear in this game mode. These symbols will randomly select coin symbols on the reels to become enhanced, increasing their prize values.
Landing a certain number of coins on the reels during this game mode can increase the size of the reels, unlocking new rows above the initial grid. Up to three rows can be unlocked to allow for a maximum grid size of 7×7.
Players in permitted jurisdictions can buy access to the Hold & Win feature for the price of x65 their stake.
