Dogwood Magic is a 5×4, 1,024 to 40,000-payline video slot that incorporates a maximum win potential of up to x40,000 the bet.

87.91 – 96.22%

Symbols in the game include four low-pays represented by different coloured gems that offer multiplier values worth x0.10, x0.20 and x0.40 the bet for combinations of three, four and five-of-a-kind, respectively. These are followed by four mid-pays appearing in the form of magic egg-shaped crystal balls, paying out x0.60 to x1 the bet for five-of-a-kind.

At the top of the paytable, players will find two mythical creatures, one pink and one white, offering x2 and x10 the bet for five-of-a-kind.

Moving onto special symbols, scatters are worth up to x10 the bet for combinations of six, while wilds substitute for all regular-pays.

The title incorporates a LayerWays mechanic, tumbling tiles, win multipliers, mystery symbols, locked rows, magic flowers, a free spins feature and a buy bonus.

Incorporating an all-new LayerWays mechanic, this sees symbols splitting up to six times to create a maximum 40,000 ways to win when the magic flower lands in the game’s locked positions on the bottom reel.

Moving onto tumbling tiles, these are active during the base game and the free spins bonus. Winning symbols are paid and then removed to make way for new symbols. Tumbling tiles can award multiple consecutive wins.

Meanwhile, the win multiplier increases with each consecutive win, starting from x1 and going up to x20. All the wins are multiplied by the win multiplier except scatters.

Moreover, any mystery symbol that lands will convert to any regular-paying icon, with each one in view converting into the same symbol.

Additionally, there are four locked reel positions in the bottom row. The symbols that appear do not participate in any winning combination when locked. Any symbol can land on the locked row except scatters and magic flowers.

Magic flowers appear only on reels two and five and, when landing, unlocks the locked reel position in the last row. The symbol that is in the unlocked position will then split up to six times in the same position. The payout is then calculated based on the new number of combinations.

Here, the magic flower symbol is removed to make way for new symbols. If the split symbol participates in a winning combination, it is then removed to make a way for new ones. The adjacent symbol to the right of the open position will then fill that spot, and will split the same number of times as the previous symbol.

Furthermore, landing four, five or six scatter symbols awards 10, 15 or 20 free spins, respectively. When +2 or +3 symbols land during the free spins bonus, it awards two or three extra free spins, respectively. These are then removed to may way for new symbols.

Finally, the bonus feature can be activated anytime during the base game with the buy bonus option. Here, players choose an option to play: paying x50 the total bet to play 10 free spins; paying x75 the total bet to play 15 free spins; or paying x100 the total bet to play 20 free spins.
