Sparkling fruits are on show as Gamzix has whipped up a collection of bonus features in the studio’s latest slot release, Fruit Story: Hold the Spin.

Out now

Fruit Story: Hold the Spin is a 5×4 reel slot with 40-paylines and four jackpot prizes on offer.

96 per cent

Low value symbols come in the form of cherries, lemons and oranges, offering between x0.25 and x5 the player’s stake if the correct number of winning combinations land on the same spin.

Grapes, watermelons and lucky sevens depict the high value symbols, offering between x1 and x20 the player’s wager.

Gold coins can also drop into play displaying monetary values between x1 and x16 the player’s stake. Landing six or more coins on the same spin will trigger the ‘hold the spin’ game mode.

Additionally, these coins can also appear with jackpot values of bronze (x20), silver (x50) or gold (x150).

Scatter stars are available, paying out x50, x200 or x1000 if three, four or five scatters appear on the same spin in any formation.

Finally, wild diamonds can drop into play, substituting for all symbols other than scatters and coins. Landing three, four or five wilds in a winning combination will provide respective wins of x25, x100 or x250.

In the ‘hold the spin’ game mode, players are given three spins to land as many coins on the reel set as possible, with each symbol that drops in resetting the number of spins to three.

When all bonus game mode spins have been played out, the player will receive the accumulated value of all coins present on the board, including the jackpot values.

The game’s biggest jackpot prize, platinum (x5,000), will be provided if the player manages to fill the board with symbols in the bonus game mode.

Mystery symbols can appear in the game, depicted as gold coins with question marks, revealing one of the three jackpot coin values available when the bonus game mode has finished.

The game also offers players the ability to double their winnings on any successful spin with a gamble feature. To win this gamble, players must select a card that is higher than, or equal to, a revealed dealer’s card.

Alexandr Kosohov, CEO at Gamzix, stated: “Fruit slots are the one and only type of games that never make a player feel bored. They can cater to any needs and entertain in so many possible ways.

“They are classy, well-known, vibrant and exciting. On one hand, you know what to expect, but on the other hand, you don’t. And I think this is the secret of their popularity.”
