The title’s low value symbols are represented by the playing cards Jack through Ace. Depending on the combinations which land on the reels, these symbols can offer x0.2 to x1 the player’s stake.
The higher value symbols are represented by a member of the four gangs, the clubs (green gang), the spirits (red gang), the dames (yellow gang) and the chains (blue gang). These symbols can offer x0.32 to x2 the player’s wager, depending on the combinations that land on the reels. Additionally, ‘the OG’ symbols offer a payout of x0.4 to x4 the player’s bet.
Alongside the standard symbols, Gang Wars also has a wild symbol depicted by a fist with the word ‘wild’ tattooed across its knuckles. The wild can replace all symbols except for the scatter symbol. Depending on the combinations that land on the reels, wild symbols can return x0.8 to x200 the player’s bet.
The title’s scatter symbol is represented by Molotov cocktails that can land on reels one, three and five. If three Molotov cocktails land during a single spin, the Gang Wars bonus game is triggered.

During the Gang Wars bonus game, the reels are split into four sections of four squares, representing the territory of the four gangs. Meanwhile, the middle strip of four squares is labelled Main Street, and cars drive up and down.
Prior to the first spin of the bonus game, each of the gang leaders is randomly assigned one of four multipliers – x2, x5, x7 or x10. The player begins with 10 free spins.
During the bonus game, gang members can land on any square and will have a multiplier attached to them. By landing, the represented gang takes control over that square. Each spin sees the multiplier accumulate on the gang leader, and the gang with the most territory is in the lead.
If the same gang occupies the full column of Main Street, the player is awarded three more spins. Additionally, if a gang has no territory, the gang leader is removed, and their associated multiplier is split evenly between the other three gang leaders.
Once all spins are completed, the gang with the most territory wins, and the accrued multiplier on the winning gang leader is applied to the player’s bet.
Meanwhile, during the base game, mystery stacks can appear on reels one, two, three and four. Once the spin is completed, the symbols behind the mystery stack are revealed, and any new win lines are paid.
The mystery stacks can also trigger a re-spin. If this occurs, the mystery stack reels are frozen, and the remaining reels are respun. On this re-spin, regular symbols and mystery stacks can land on the reels that are re-spun, and any new win lines are paid.
