Low value symbols are depicted as playing card royals, with Jack through to Ace. These symbols can offer between x0.25 and x2.5 the player’s wager, depending on the number of matching combinations that land on a single spin.
Shovels, lanterns and money bags represent the medium value symbols, offering between x0.5 and x10 the player’s preferred stake.
Meanwhile, high value symbols come in the form of gold-filled mine carts and donkeys. If the correct number of winning combinations appear at once, these symbols can offer between x1 and x25 the player’s bet.
The donkey symbols also work as wilds, substituting for all symbols other than scatters, collect, money and mystery symbols.
Scatters are represented by a mine shaft and will activate 10, 12 or 15 free spins if three, four or five scatters land on the same spin respectively.
Money symbols appear displaying monetary values, while mining prospector symbols can also drop into play to collect all money symbol values that are present on the reels.

While three or more scatter symbols trigger the free spins feature when landing in the base game, landing individual scatters throughout the base game can contribute to activating an enhanced free spins feature, known as ‘extra free spins’.
These free spins are progressive, with every fourth prospector symbol that drops into play reactivating the feature with an extra 10 spins. Retriggering the feature once, twice and three times will also implement win multipliers of x2, x3 and x10 into the game mode.
