Low value symbols come in the form of playing card royals, with Jack through to Ace. If the right amount of matching combinations land at once, these symbols can offer between x0.2 and x2 the player’s bet.
Pickaxes, dishes and coin bags depict the medium value symbols, offering between x0.4 and x12 the player’s preferred stake.
High value symbols are represented by dogs and prospectors. These symbols can offer between x1 and x20, depending on the amount of winning combinations that fall at once.
The prospector symbols also work as wild features, substituting for all symbols other than the scatter and bonus features.
Bonus symbols come in the form of golden nuggets. If a golden nugget lands on the reels while another golden nugget with the word ‘bonus’ is present, the boost feature will be activated.
Landing six golden nuggets at once will trigger the hold and win game mode.
Finally, scatter mine symbols are available, triggering the free spins feature by appearing three times on reels two, three and four.
THE DETAILS
With the free spins feature, players are awarded eight free spins. These spins can be retriggered if another three scatters appear on the reels at once.
With the hold and win bonus game, players are taken to an empty reel-set while the nuggets that triggered the feature stay sticky on the reels.
Players are given a certain amount of spins to collect as many golden nuggets on this reel set as possible, with the nuggets appearing with monetary values.
Each nugget that drops in will reset the number of spins, and the accumulated value of all nuggets on the board will be gifted to the player at the end of the feature.
Three different jackpot nuggets can drop in during this feature, with mini, major and minor variants. The fourth jackpot prize becomes available when players manage to fill all spaces in this game mode.
