RubyPlay has designed its latest mechanic that it hopes can live up to its name, showcasing sticky gold coin wins in Immortal Ways: Diamonds.

THE SYMBOLS
Low value symbols come in the form of playing card royals, with Queens, Kings and Aces. If the right number of matching combinations land on a single spin, these symbols can offer between x0.04 and x0.16 the player’s bet.
Next up, cherries depict the medium value symbols, alongside coloured gemstones of green, blue and red, offering between x0.08 and x0.28 the player’s wager.
Bells and lucky sevens are also available as high value symbols, paying out between x0.12 and x0.4 the player’s stake if the right number of winning combinations appear at once.
Diamond scatters symbols can also appear, paying out independently from paylines. Landing three, four, five or six diamond scatters on the same spin will award respective wins of x2, x3, x7 or x25.
Implementing the Immortal Ways mechanic, gold coins can appear in reels two through four with multiplied bet amounts values ranging from x0.8 to x14 the chosen bet. These gold coins will hold their place on the board for three spins to give players a chance of winning their values.
Additionally, bonus wheel symbols can drop into play, awarding either jackpot prizes, a collect function for any available gold coins or a multiplied bet amount to be displayed as a gold coin in place of the bonus wheel symbol.
Finally, wild symbols are included, substituting for all paytable symbols but not for bonus wheels, diamond scatters or gold coins.
THE DETAILS
With the Immortal Ways mechanic, the reel set is divided into two halves. One half covers reels one to three, with the other covering reels four to six. Gold coins that drop into play will stay on the board for three spins, with any additional gold coins that drop into their half within those spins resetting the number of spins back to three.
If players manage to land a full half with gold coins symbols, they will receive the accumulated value of all gold coins present on that half of the board.
Meanwhile, bonus wheel scatters can drop into either half to spin a wheel in either the first or sixth reel, depending on which half it drops into.
Spinning this wheel can either award an extra gold coin in its place with a value of x5, x6, x7, x8, x9 or x10 the player’s bet, one of four jackpot prizes, multipliers to be applied to any available coins or a collect function to award players the accumulated value of all coins on that half of the board.
While awarding instant payouts, the diamond scatter symbols will also provide eight free spins when three or more drop in on the same spin.
During these free spins, gold coins will not be removed after three spins, but will stay sticky until the free spins end or a collect feature is activated.
