By default, games are played in Day Mode. On any main game spin, Night Mode may be triggered randomly. During the Night Mode, all spins are free. Once triggered, Night Mode will remain for at least three spins, unless the Night Free Games feature is activated.
During the base game, if three or more Day Book symbols, that only appear during when the game is in Day Mode, it triggers the Day Free Games feature which awards 10 Free Spins.
At the beginning of the feature a symbol is chosen randomly to be the Special Expanding symbol for the duration of the round. During the round, any Special Expanding symbol may expand to cover all three positions on its reel.
Alternatively, if two Night Book symbols are landed, which can only happen during the Night Mode,this triggers the Night Free Games Feature and provides five Free Spins. Furthermore, any three or more Night Book symbols that land awards ten Free Spins.
Once the round commences, a symbol will, like its alternative, pick a Special Expanding symbol at random. During the feature, after the payout of regular symbols, each Special Expanding symbol may expand to cover all three positions on the reel.
