Moving onto special symbols, scatters count on any position on the reels. For the number of scatters and combinations on each enabled payline, only the highest win is paid. Moreover, the King of Ghosts himself, Zhong Kui, appears as a wild symbol, substituting for all regular-pays.

In the game, landing three or more scatter symbols triggers 12 free games with the expanding wild feature and random multipliers.
After each free spin resulting in a winning combination, players will see ghosts appear trying to steal their gain, but Zhong Kui has hidden ghost bait in the cages with multipliers of x1, x2, x3, x5 and x10. Once all ghosts are caged, the remaining multiplier is applied to the current winning combinations.
