If players land three or more Magic Ball symbols, they trigger the Free Spins mode, which awards 12 spins and a special expanding symbol. Up to nine expanding symbols can be activated during the mode, but they will only expand if enough symbols are present for a win, even if not appearing on adjacent reels.
