In the game, the Medusa wild steps in for all regular pay symbols to grant the highest possible win. Additionally, all wins involving one or more wilds are boosted by an x2 multiplier.
Moreover, landing two bonus scatters anywhere in view triggers the mystery respin feature. Here, the triggering reels become sticky, while the three remaining reels spin again.
If players trigger the bonus chance respin, the triggering bonus symbols do not transform. Meanwhile, if they trigger the Medusa wild respin, the two triggering bonus symbols turn wild. Finally, if players get the Medusa power respin, the bonus symbols turn into x5 multiplier wilds.
In order to activate the bonus round, players must land at least three bonus scatters anywhere in view, awarding seven initial free spins. The triggering bonus symbols then become sticky for the duration of the feature.
On the first free spin, the sticky bonus symbols transform into the lowest value character symbol. If more bonus scatters are landed on that spin, they will also become sticky and reveal the same character symbol.
If no new bonus symbol lands, the next free spin is played as the sticky bonus symbols turn into the next character symbol on the trail. This continues until the final free spin, where all racked up sticky bonus symbols turn into the Medusa wild that comes with an x2 boost.
This is the ‘Hot 1’ climax, where, as before, the respins go on as long as the player keeps landing new sticky bonus symbols that also transform into Medusa wilds.
Additionally, players can purchase the bonus round for x100 the stake, awarding three to five bonus scatters on the following spin.
