THE SYMBOLS
Low value symbols come in the form of the high end of a deck of cards with a 9, 10, J, Q, K and an A. These symbols can offer between x0.1 and x1.5 the player’s stake, depending on the amount of winning combinations that land on a single spin.
Higher value symbols are represented by different named monsters including Pyroana, Object 51, Great Old One, Spartan Fighter V, Lord Zar and Kongo King. If the right amount of matching combinations land on a single turn then these symbols can offer between x0.2 and x10 the player’s stake.
Another symbol in the game is the vs scatter symbol, which triggers a free spins feature if three or more land in one go. As well as this, there is a wild symbol depicted as a crown. These wilds can substitute for any other symbol other than the scatter, and can appear anywhere on the reels.
THE DETAILS
The Gigablox game mechanic allows some symbols to take up more than the usual one square on the reel to increase the win potential. All symbols are able to randomly cover a range of 2×2 squares up to 6×6 squares covering the entire board.
When five or more scatters appear on one turn, the free spins feature is activated where one of the higher value monster symbols is highlighted as the champion symbol. This turns all symbols represented by this specific monster into wilds as well as maintaining their standard value. The monster that is chosen is the one that appears most on the triggering spin.
Up to 40 free spins can be awarded to the player with this feature. Four free spins are initially awarded plus one free spin for every scatter symbol that dropped onto the reels, allowing a minimum of nine free spins as players need at least five scatters to trigger this mode.
Any wins with this feature that only contain the champion monster or crown wilds will pay double the listed price.
Players also have the opportunity to buy the free spins feature for the price of x75 the player’s bet. The buy bonus free spins feature will offer up to 34 free spins.
