Low value symbols come in the form of the high end of a deck of cards, from 10 through to Ace. If the right number of winning combinations land on a single spin, these symbols can offer between x0.15 and x6 the player’s wager.

Meanwhile, ducks, foxes, moose and bears depict the high value symbols, offering between x0.5 and x30 the player’s preferred stake.

Target board scatters can appear anywhere on the reels, causing any high value symbols that appear on the same spin to travel across the grid towards the target. Each cell that the high value symbol steps across will gain a multiplier value left behind by the symbol.

These multiplier values differ depending on the high value symbols that steps across, with ducks awarding x0.2 in each cell while foxes, moose and bears provide x0.4, x1 and x2 respectively,

Once the high value symbols reach these scatter targets, the next available high value symbol will travel across, leaving behind its own multiplier values. Once all symbols have performed the feature, the multipliers will be added together and implemented to the player’s stake for an enhanced payout.

Finally, wild W symbols are also available, substituting for all symbols other than the target scatters.

The game’s free spins feature is activated once players have collected seven target scatters within the same game session, awarding five free spins.

During this bonus game mode, players are taken to an empty 5×4 reel set in which only target scatters and high value symbols can drop into play.

On each free spin, the high value symbols will travel across the grid to land on the target scatter, leaving a multiplier trail behind as they do in the base game.

However, the hunter sits beside the reel set for this feature, shooting bullets at the high value symbols as they travel across the board. Each successful shot at the high value symbol will apply a multiplier to that animal symbol causing the remainder of its trail to gain higher values.

These hunter multipliers will start at x2 in the first free spin but will increase after every three successful shots. These multipliers will keep their increased values as the game mode continues.

Two attribute bars also sit next to the hunter, with an accuracy bar and an ammunition bar each telling the player how accurate the hunter’s shots will be as well as how often the hunter can shoot a bullet.

Moreover, +1 symbols can also appear on the board, awarding one additional free spin. Players can buy access to all five free spins for the price of x100 their preferred bet.

Mark McGinley, Chief Gaming Officer at Yggdrasil, commented: “I think it’s fair to say that everyone involved in the development of this game has hit the mark.

“Peter Hunter boasts fantastic visuals and has some truly memorable features and mechanics such as the cash collect which ups the ante with multiplied prizes.”

Yann Bautista, Founder & Commercial Director at Peter & Sons, added: “It always brings me great pleasure to shout about our latest releases alongside the fine folk at Yggdrasil and Peter Hunter is certainly no exception.”
