The playing cards 10 through ace are the game’s low-value symbols, offering returns of between x1 and x10 the player’s bet.
Maracas, Tequilas and Guitars are the medium-value symbols, offering payouts ranging from x3 to x20 the player’s wager.
Finally, mariachi band members and Mexican dancers are the highest-value symbols. Depending on how many of these symbols land along the requisite paylines, they return between x0.5 and x50 the player’s stake.
The game also has wild symbols that can land on reels two to five and substitute for all symbols, except coin symbols.
Coin symbols can land on the reels carrying values between x0.5 and x10, or the mini, minor, major or grand jackpot.
DETAILS
When coins land in the base game, they are collected into piñatas above the reels and can randomly trigger the bonus game with an extra, multi or grow modifier.
The extra feature offers an additional respin, while the multi feature randomly applies multipliers to coin symbols. Finally, the grow feature expands the reels to 5×5.
The value of the coin symbols is only awarded if a collect symbol also lands on the reels at the same time.
The hold and win bonus is activated when one or more feature coins successfully trigger their respective piñatas. The triggering coins remain on the reels during the bonus game.
The player is awarded three respins to begin with, and the counter is reset when a new coin lands during the bonus game. If the extra feature is activated, the bonus game begins with four respins.
