Yo-ho-ho! GameArt’s latest swash-buckling slot release sees players take a voyage on the high seas with a band of fearsome shipmates in Pirate’s Pearl Megaways.
Pirate’s Pearl Megaways is a six reel slot with up to seven rows, 117,649 ways to win and a maximum win of up to x80,000 the player’s stake.

Low value symbols are represented by silver coins displaying playing card royals, from Jack through to Ace. If the right amount of winning combinations land in one go, these symbols can offer between x0.1 and x0.5 the player’s bet.
Maps, hooks, barrels and compasses depict the medium value symbols, offering between x0.25 and x1.5 the player’s preferred stake.
High value symbols come in the form of green and blue pirates. These symbols can offer between x0.5 and x10, depending on the number of winning combinations that fall on one go.
Scatter pearls can appear on all reels, triggering 10, 14, 18 or 22 free spins, with rising multipliers of x1, x2, x5 or x10 if three, four, five or six land on the same spin respectively.
Wild captains are included on reels two, three, four and five, substituting for all symbols other than the scatters and mystery symbols.
Mystery symbols, represented by a pirate ship, can land on reels two, three, four and five, revealing a random paytable symbol, or a wild, at the end of each spin they appear on.
As a Megaways title, this game uses cascading wins. This means that symbols in a winning formation will disappear after providing their payout, making way for new symbols to drop in and increase the win potential of an already successful spin.
Landing a certain number of mystery ships throughout the base game can trigger three separate features. Landing 16 pirate ships will activate the sea storm feature, causing all low-value symbols to disappear on the triggering spin, with only medium and high-value symbols able to drop in and replace them.
If players can land 45 pirate ships, the yo-ho-ho! Megaways respins are activated, providing three spins with each spin using more Megaways than the last to increase each spin’s win potential.
The ocean battle game mode is triggered when players land 100 pirate ship mystery symbols during the base game, which takes players on board a pirate ship that is battling an enemy’s pirate ship.
The player’s pirate ship will start to shoot cannons at the other pirate ship, while the other ship shoots back. Players are given random multipliers between x2 and x1,000 each time they hit the enemy’s ship.
Getting hit back by the other ship will bring the feature closer to its end, as being hit four times will sink the player’s ship and end the game mode. However, if players can hit the enemy’s ship four times, their multipliers will be doubled and hitting the ship for a sixth time will award a x10,000 win.
With the free spins feature, the starting multiplier is increased by a value of one with each winning cascade that occurs. Players can also gamble the amount of free spins they win to receive more, by spinning a wheel and trying to land it in a green zone.
Through this gamble, players can win up to 37 free spins, but losing the gamble will return the players to the base game empty-handed.
Furthermore, players can buy access to the free spins feature or the ocean battle game mode for the price of a significantly increased bet.
