AvatarUX has combined its ever-present PopWins format with an “incredibly exciting” new mechanic, StickyPop, in the studio’s latest Irish-themed release Pop O’Gold.

Low value symbols are depicted as playing card royals, from Jack through to Ace. These symbols can offer between x0.05 and x0.6 the player’s wager, depending on the number of winning combinations that appear on a single spin.
Hooks, hats, shields and ale represent the medium value symbols, offering between x0.2 and x1.5 the player’s stake.
High value symbols are represented by pots of gold and leprechauns. If the correct number of matching combinations land on one spin, these symbols can offer between x0.3 and x2.5.
Clover scatters can also appear, triggering the free spins feature if three or more scatters land on the same spin.
THE DETAILS
Pop O’Gold has introduced the studio’s new StickyPop mechanic, in which symbols in a winning combination will stay sticky on the reels as a free respin occurs around them.
Each time an additional win is formed through the free respin, the StickyPop feature will reoccur. This keeps happening until no new wins can be formed.
In typical PopWins fashion, these winning combinations will also cause the reel that each winning symbol is in to increase in size, adding an extra row to the reel.
If players gain enough wins on one spin to unlock the maximum size reel set, 5×5, a win multiplier of x2 will be awarded. This multiplier will then increase by a value of one with each subsequent win on the 5×5 board.
Throughout the game, symbols can randomly appear with x2 and x3 split multipliers that cause said symbols to provide either two or three times its original value.
At the start of random base game spins, a boosted reels feature can occur, causing two or more reels to reveal guaranteed split multipliers on all symbols in this reel.
When triggering the free spins feature, players are provided with five spins, but can use the gamble wheel to gain additional spins.
With this gamble, players will spin a wheel hoping that they land a marker in a green zone. Doing this successfully will provide eight spins in total, while players can repeat the gamble one more time to gain 12 spins.
The Gamble wheel also offers a golden zone, offering 10 spins if the marker lands in this zone. Once winning those 10 spins, players can repeat the gamble to try and gain 14 spins in total.
Losing any of these gambles by landing the marker in empty wheel zones will return players to the base game empty-handed.
During these free spins, the reel set can reach a size of 5×7, awarding two additional spins each time a new row is unlocked by a winning combination. This will also provide a win multiplier of x2 that increases by a value of one with each subsequent win.
Furthermore, players can buy access to the free spins feature for the price of x400 their stake, with 12 guaranteed spins on offer. Alternatively, players can access five free spins for x100 or the gamble wheel for the same price.
