During the base game, the Wild symbol – the Portal Master – appears only on the third reel and as soon as it lands on any reel position, it expands to cover the entire reel while still acting as a Wild. Moreover, the Wild grants one energy sphere to players every time it appears.
Among the symbols spinning on the reels, players will find a mixture of glowing crystals and special animal guardians ready to protect the portal, such as the strong bull, a fierce dragon, wise owl, and a mighty stingray. They are under the full command of Portal Master.
During the Free Spins mode, the Portal Master remains on reel three but is also added to reels two and four, and can appear on more than one reel per spin. In any instance where she appears in the round, she will still act as an Expanding Wild but, instead of granting Energy Spheres, she will grant one extra spin for each of her appearances.
Scatter Crystals are activation symbols and can be used in combination with Energy Spheres to create additional win opportunities. Only one Energy Sphere can be used per visible Scatter Crystal to transform it into a regular symbol.
