THE SYMBOLS
Low value symbols are represented by playing card royals from Jack through to Ace. If the right number of paying combinations appear on a single spin, these symbols can offer between x0.5 and x5 the player’s preferred bet.
Meanwhile, swords, scrolls, masks and dragons depict the medium value symbols, offering between x1.5 and x10 the player’s stake.
High value symbols come in the form of four Japanese folklore-style characters, with colour variants of red, blue, green and gold. These symbols can offer between x3 and x30 the player’s wager, depending on the number of winning combinations that appear at once.
Dragon scatters can also appear on reels one, three and five, triggering the unlimited free spins feature if three land on the same spin.
Finally, purple wild text symbols are available, substituting for all symbols other than the dragon scatters.
THE DETAILS
In the free spins feature, players start on the first of three free spins levels. As the game mode begins, players must choose between two characters, as one becomes the players hero and the other becomes the opponent.
Each of these characters will have respective wild symbols that drop into play during the bonus game, while three flames sit above their heads.
Landing wild symbols of the chosen hero’s colour will remove flames from the opponent, while opponent wilds can also appear, removing flames from the chosen hero.
While the free spins are unlimited, the game mode will end if one of the characters loses the three flames above their heads. If the hero loses all flames, the free spins game mode will end while the player receives all free spins winnings.
However, if the opponent loses all its flames first, then the player will be taken to level two. Level two works similarly to level one, with players choosing one of two characters to battle it out and try to destroy the opponent character’s flames.
If players manage to destroy the opponent’s flames in level two, then they will be taken to level three. This level allows players to choose from one of four treasure chests, which hide a range of enhanced prize values and multipliers to increase the free spins winnings.
