THE SYMBOLS
Low value symbols in the game come in the form of the high end of a deck of cards, with J through to A. These symbols can offer between x0.2 and x1.5 the player’s stake, depending on the amount of matching symbols that land in a cluster.
Medium value symbols are represented by butterflies, fish and a pink bird. If the right amount of medium symbols land in one cluster then they can offer between x0.5 and x3 the player’s stake.
Crocodiles, buffalo, leopards and rhinos depict the high value symbols, offering between x1 and x15 the player’s stake. This will depend on the amount of identical symbols involved in the same cluster.
A wild symbol is included in the game, represented by a wild text symbol with a blue swirling pattern. These wilds can only appear during the free spins bonus, substituting for all symbols other than the bonus.
The bonus symbol is depicted as a diamond. It does not have a payout value but can offer the free spins feature when three or more land on a single spin.
THE DETAILS
Raging pop is a blockbuster style game with cascading PopWins. Each successful spin will see identical symbols land in a cluster on the board, with these winning symbols disappearing to make way for new symbols.
When activating the free spins feature, three bonus diamonds will award 10 free spins, four gives 15, five will provide 20 free spins and landing six bonus diamonds will offer 25 free spins.
Consecutive wins in the free spins mode can cause the reels to extend to have up to seven rows. This is because each winning symbol is replaced by two symbols, rather than the usual single replacement in the base game.
Once the consecutive wins end, the reels go back to 5×5, however every 10 free spins that are played will cause the reels to extend by one symbol for the remainder of the free spins.
The raging rhino mode can be activated randomly in both the base game and the free spins mode. This will cause the reels to extend up to five, six or seven symbols tall. Meanwhile, stampeding rhinos run across the screen to select a multiplier that will be attributed to any payout caused by the extended reels. These multipliers can be between x2 and x500.
A gamble wheel feature is also available, allowing players to gamble the amount of free spins they are awarded. When winning free spins, the wheel will be presented to the player, offering up to 30 free spins. Players can spin the wheel in hope of landing more free spins, but could come away with losing the free spins they were guaranteed.
Furthermore, players can choose to increase their initial bet by 25 per cent in order to have double the chance of landing bonus diamonds and triggering free spins.
