In the game, the wild symbol substitutes for all regular pay symbols to help the player complete winning combos. Wilds are also the highest value symbols in the game, awarding x50 the stake for five of a kind wins.
Above each reel players will find a Fireball Collector metre consisting of two framed empty squares. Fireballs are collected in these metres on the reel they appear on, and when the meter is filled with two fireballs, the player will be awarded with a wild reel for the two following spins. Fireballs collected are stored per bet level, and the metre resets as the wild reel feature plays out. Wild reels can be carried over into the bonus round.
Furthermore, the bonus round can be triggered by landing three volcano scatters on reels one, three and five on the same spin. This awards 10 Fiery free spins, and the feature can be retriggered. Each active wild reel increases the win multiplier by plus two, starting at x1. The player thus gets a global multiplier of x2, x4, x6, x8 and x10 for two, three, four and five wild reels active at the same time, respectively.
