Low value symbols are depicted as the high end of a deck of cards, from 10 through to Ace. If the right amount of winning combinations land on a single spin, these symbols can offer x0.3 the player’s bet.
Egg, tuna, shrimp and salmon sushi pieces depict the high value symbols, offering between x0.2 and x0.5 the player’s preferred stake.
Soy sauce bottles are also available, acting as wild symbols that substitute for all symbols other than the wasabi scatters. These wilds can offer payouts of x1 if three land in a winning combination.
Moreover, the wasabi scatters can appear as embellishments on other symbols, rather than taking up a cell of their own. Landing three wasabi pieces on the same spin will trigger four free spins.
THE DETAILS
Throughout the game, symbols can appear split on the reels, acting as two symbols within one cell. This increases the number of ways to win.
These splitting symbols are decided by an extra reel that spins to the left of the board. In the base game, one random symbol is chosen to be split on each spin.
In the free spins game mode, players can choose which symbol they would like to appear split on the reels for the duration of the feature. However, these chosen symbols will also stay sticky on the reels for all free spins.
Each wasabi piece that drops into play during the free spins will provide an additional spin.
