Sun of Egypt 5: Hold and Win is a 5×3 reel slot with 20 paylines and a maximum win of x5,000 the player’s stake.
SYMBOLS
Playing cards, jack through ace, are the title’s low-value symbols. Depending on the combination of these symbols on the reels following a spin, these symbols can offer x0.25 to x2.5 the player’s wager.
Four different golden Egyptian symbols are the title’s high-value symbols. These symbols offer x0.25 to x12.5 the player’s bet.
A pharaoh’s head is also the title’s wild symbol, which can appear on all the reels and substitutes for all other symbols except for the scatter, bonus, jackpot and power.
The scatter symbol is a pot of gold coins, which can appear on reels two through four only. The bonus symbol is a yellow sun, which can appear on all the reels but only pays out during the bonus game.
A red sun is the power bonus symbol, which can appear on all the reels but only awards a random bonus feature during the bonus game. Possible values the power symbol can have are x1, x2, x3, x5, x8, or x10 the player’s bet, as well as boost, mutli and jackpot.

If three scatter symbols land on the reels, the free spins mode is triggered, awarding eight free spins to the player. Should another three scatter symbols land during free spins mode, an additional eight free spins are awarded to the player. The playing card symbols are the only symbols which are not present during the free spins mode.
If six or more of the bonus symbols are present on the reels following a single spin, the bonus game is triggered, awarding three respins to the player. Whenever a new symbol lands on the reels, the respins counter resets to three. All symbols stay put on the reels throughout the bonus game.
At the beginning of the bonus game, rows four through six are locked. When a certain number of bonus, jackpot or power symbols are collected, rows are unlocked. The fourth row requires 10 symbols, the fifth row requires 15, while the sixth row requires 20 symbols to unlock.
The bonus game continues until either the reels are filled with bonus symbols or the player has no more respins. At which point, the value of all the symbols present are summed up and awarded to the player before they are returned to the base game.
The bonus game can be triggered during free spins mode. It can also be triggered with a guaranteed power symbol if enough bonus, jackpot and power symbols are collected.
During the power feature, the power symbol will transform into one of the three bonus features – boost, multi and jackpot. Once the power feature has concluded, the symbol will then take on a random numerical value, as listed previously.
Boost will add a random value of either x2, x3, x5, x8, x10, x12, x15, x20 or x25 the player’s bet to several symbols on the reels. Multi adds random multipliers – x2 through x6, x8, x10 – to several symbols on the reels, while the jackpot will add a random jackpot – mini, minor, maxi or major – to several symbols present.
The game also has six different jackpot levels: mini (x5), minor (x10), maxi (x20), major (x50), grand (x1,000) and royal (x5,000). Mini, minor, maxi, major and grand jackpots can randomly appear during the bonus game, while the royal jackpot can only be won by the player if all 30 reel slots are filled with bonus symbols.
