Low value symbols are depicted as playing card royals, from Jack through to Ace. These symbols can offer between x0.1 and x1 the player’s stake, depending on the amount of paying combinations that land at once.

Next up, harps and vases represent the medium value symbols, offering between x0.2 and x1.5 the player’s preferred bet.

High value symbols come in the form of Roman emperors and their wives. If the correct number of paying combinations land on a single spin, these symbols can offer between x0.3 and x3 the player’s bet.

Bonus text scatters can also appear on the reels, triggering eight, 10 or 12 free spins if three, four or five land on the same spin respectively.

Plain diamonds are available on reels two and four, revealing either blue, green or red diamonds that are collected in their respective colour’s meter to the side of the reels.

Once players have collected three diamonds of the same colour, in any number of spins, the diamonds will provide one of three bonus features represented by their colour.

Finally, wild text symbols can drop into play, substituting for all symbols other than the bonus and diamond symbols.

Collecting three blue diamonds will trigger the x2 wilds feature, causing all wilds to gain a x2 multiplier to be applied to any wins that they contribute to.

Red diamonds will activate the expanded reels feature, increasing the reel size to 5×6 and subsequently tripling the number of paylines.

When players land three green diamonds in the base game, five to ten positions on the reel set will be transformed into wild symbols to increase the game’s win potential.

Landing diamonds in the free spins feature will provide two coloured diamonds instead of one, while awarding an additional free spin.

David Mann, Chief Executive Officer at Swintt, said: “They say that Rome wasn’t built in a day – but in Swintt’s new Treasures of Rome slot, colossal wins can certainly be built in a single spin thanks to the presence of three mystery diamond features that can combine to create some truly epic payouts.

“As an exciting addition to our popular SwinttPremium line-up, Treasures of Rome features the iconic visuals and simple gameplay that have made the series such a success, but the inclusion of expanding reels, x2 multipliers and random wilds gives the slot a modern edge that new players will really enjoy.”
