Low value symbols come in the form of the high end of a deck of cards, from 10 through to Ace. If the right number of matching combinations appear on a single spin, these symbols can offer between x0.1 and x1.4 the player’s bet.
Next up, purple drunks, blue diggers, green cigar-smokers and red female characters depict the high value symbols, offering between x0.4 and x10 the player’s preferred stake.
Wild prospector Willy symbols, can also drop into play, substituting for all symbols other than the golden nugget bonus symbols. Landing between two and five wilds in a winning combination can offer between x0.05 and x10 the player’s bet.
Golden nugget symbols appear as cash prizes, providing instant payouts in the free spins feature while providing payouts between x1 and x5 for winning combinations in the base game.
Finally, bonus minecart scatters are available, triggering eight, 12 or 15 free spins if three, four or five scatters appear on the same spin respectively.
THE DETAILS
Throughout the base game, an additional one cell reel spins above the board, revealing one of the paytable symbols or a golden nugget.
When this reel reveals a paytable symbol, and the same paytable symbol contributes to a payline win on the main board, this payline win will be multiplied by x3.
If this reel reveals a golden nugget symbol, all golden nugget payline wins on the main board will be multiplied by x20.
During the free spins game mode, collecting wild Willys will cause them to be attributed to a meter above the reels. When three wilds have been collected, players will be awarded a win multiplier of x3 with an additional five free spins.
Collecting a further four wild symbols, for seven in total, will provide a x5 multiplier with another five extra spins. If 11 wild symbols are collected throughout the free spins, a x20 multiplier will be activated with another five spins.
Each wild willy will also collect golden nuggets that are on the same spin, applying the golden nugget’s displayed prize value to the player’s free spins payout.
Golden nugget symbols can appear with cash prize amounts ranging from x2 to x25 the player’s bet.
