Howl at the moon and snarl at your enemies as Playson’s latest slot release sees players aim to land wolf wilds and full moons in Wolf Land: Hold and Win

Out now

Wolf Land: Hold and Win is a 5×4 reel slot with 25-paylines and a maximum win of up to x3,000 the player’s bet.

Low value symbols are represented by playing card royals, from Jack through to Ace. If the right number of winning combinations land on a single spin, these symbols can offer between x0.2 and x2 the player’s wager.

Next up, rabbits, deer, owls and mountain lions depict the high value symbols, offering between x0.4 and x20 the player’s preferred wager.

Scatter mountain symbols can appear on reels one, three and five, triggering eight free spins if three land on the same turn. This will also result in an instant payout of x2.

Full moon symbols are also available, displaying either monetary values between x1 and x15 the player’s bet or jackpot prizes of mini (x20), minor (x50) or major (x100).

Additionally, moons can appear depicting ‘boost’ text. These symbols will collect all moon values present on the reels and apply them to a winning payout.

Landing six or more moon symbols on the same spin will activate the hold and win game mode.

Finally, wolf wild symbols can drop into play, substituting for all symbols other than moon symbols and mountain scatters.

In the hold-and-win game mode, players are given three spins to land as many moon symbols on a reel set as possible. Each additional symbol that drops into play will reset the number of spins to three.

Once all three spins have been played out, the player will receive the accumulated value of all moon symbols on the reels, in addition to any jackpot prize moons that have dropped in.

Players can win the game’s maximum win of x3,000, the grand jackpot prize, if they manage to land a full reel set of moon symbols during the bonus game mode.

Additionally, mystery cloud symbols can only appear in the hold-and-win game mode, revealing either monetary values or jackpot prizes once the feature finishes. However, if a boost symbol is active on the board, the mystery symbol will be revealed immediately.

Tamas Kusztos, CCO at Playson, said: “Our Hold and Win portfolio continues to thrill players and Wolf Land: Hold and Win is another excellent example of this classic library of slots.

“The Boost and Extra Bonus features are always well-received by players and the engrossing gameplay and aesthetics will keep users entertained as they get set to ascend the mountain range in search of treasure.”
