Amusnet has launched a solidarity initiative to support dogs impacted by the recent Venezuela earthquakes.
The initiative will see Amusnet dedicate an amount equivalent to 100% of the invoiced value of its Caramelo Sortudo title throughout July to support relief efforts, giving operating partners across Venezuela a full discount on the game’s invoicing.
The iGaming supplier hopes this will encourage operators to donate the equivalent amount to local foundations and organisations that are rescuing, treating, and protecting dogs affected by the disaster.
Amusnet noted that the Caramelo Sortudo title was created specifically for the Latin American market, ‘designed as a celebration of the everyday hero that has captured the hearts of millions across the region’.
The title is inspired by Brazil’s iconic caramelo street dog, which is described by Amusnet as ‘a symbol of resilience, optimism, and companionship deeply rooted in local culture’ and a story about second chances, with the supplier hoping that placing the game at the heart of this initiative will give many dogs impacted by the earthquakes a second chance.
Hillary Flores, LATAM Marketing Manager at Amusnet, commented: “At Amusnet, we believe that companies have a responsibility to stand by communities when they need support the most.”
“Caramelo Sortudo has always been a game about resilience and hope, making it the natural choice for this initiative. We hope this campaign inspires our partners and the wider industry to come together and help those who cannot ask for help themselves.”
Amusnet is also asking the wider iGaming industry and its partners to support humanitarian and animal welfare organisations in Venezuela to help bring relief, care, and hope to those rebuilding their lives after the disaster.
