Hasbro, the manufacturer of iconic board games such as Monopoly, has announced a slate of new multi-year partnerships with the iGaming industry.
Aristocrat, Evolution, Galaxy Gaming and Bally’s have all been selected by the company to transform their games into a series of titles for the gaming industry.
All four companies have been granted the licence to develop new titles based on Monopoly – a board game which has sold more than 275 million copies worldwide.
Aristocrat will be focusing solely on Monopoly, working on slot games for use in physical casinos. Meanwhile, Bally’s will act as a B2C casino operator, also focusing specifically on Monopoly.
Evolution will provide online live casino and slot games under the licensing agreement, focusing on Monopoly and also “Hasbro Games”. Meanwhile, Galaxy Gaming will be working on casino table games themed around Monopoly, Yahtzee and Battleship.
Claire Hunter Gregson, Director of Gaming Relationships at Hasbro, commented: “We’re all about play—and that means meeting our fans wherever they are, from the game table to the casino floor.
“These visionary new partners have the expertise and imagination to reimagine our brands in bold, exciting ways for adult audiences.”
Hasbro has licensed the IP of its games to the gambling sector for almost 30 years, with the latest partnerships adding to the company’s long-standing relationship with Sciplay – the social games division of Light & Wonder.
Evolution has previously worked with Hasbro, developing the live casino games Monopoly Live and Monopoly Big Baller.
“The team and I are incredibly excited to bring the Hasbro Games brands to all our various brands,” said Todd Haushalter, Chief Product Officer at Evolution.
“I think Monopoly is the world’s best casino game brand, and we can do so many great things with it, and, of course, with many other Hasbro Games brands. It is hard to believe, but these are still the early days of online gaming, and with Hasbro, we will forge a new chapter in our industry.”
Aristocrat Gaming’s CEO, Craig Toner, added that the partnership is a “proud milestone” for the company, and it is committed to “reimagine Monopoly slot games for today’s players around the globe”.
Titles based on the Hasbro games are expected to be showcased at the beginning of 2026.
