The SBC Webinars series continues on Thursday 27 May when Scott McGregor (COO, beBettor), Natalie Carter (head of regulatory compliance, One Click Limited), and Ian Tannock (head of player protection, BetBull) take part in the UK Affordability Update.
Hosted by beBettor, the specialist in helping UK-licensed betting and gaming operators to understand customer affordability through non-intrusive checks, the session will deliver a timely examination of the latest developments in the key issues around affordability.
The expert panel will try to cut through the continuing uncertainty surrounding the future of affordability regulations in the wake of the Gambling Commission’s Remote Customer Interaction consultation, and offer some insights into what operators can do now to enhance their systems and improve player protection.
Among the specific topics that moderator Harris Hill (business development manager, beBettor) will ask about are how operators currently approach the issue, how new affordability regulations may look, and the steps that can be taken to prepare for them.
The panel will also examine how technology can help operators to improve their processes through the effective use of non-intrusive affordability checks and automated affordability assessments.
